The TBO body kit is sure to turn a normal S14 into a great eye-catcher.
The big rear spoiler, huge front air intakes, widened stance, huge intercooler....
woo woo. They changed the turbo into something big as well.
As with all photos currently put up in this gallery, the below pictures
are scanned from a Japanese Silvia S14 & S13 guidebook (written jointly
by Nissan and Hyper Rev). I don't know what the Japanese descriptions
say, but judging from the few English and Chinese characters (Hanji, right?)
the following information may be true :
Max horsepower : 350+ hp
Uses GT2540R turbo
Intercooler size is roughly 250% of the stock unit.
Fuel injectors size : 555cc
The rear wing is so big and heavy - for a reason. It helps to
achieve a better weight distribution(!?).
Spring rates : front 10kg/mm, rear 6kg/mm. (My car had about
7.5 and 6.3, and it's unacceptably bumpy !)
Tire size : 245/45-17 front and rear. (Surprised me a bit,
as most tuned rear-wheel-drive cars have wider rear tires.)
Wheel size : 17X9J
The car has been widened by using wheels with more offset. Extra
wheel fenders have been welded onto the body panels. (Doesn't seem
to be bolted on, does it?)
