Note: Three years service including battle action were needed to qualify for 50 acres of farm land and a town section. A war service medal is due and has possibly not been claimed. Meaning of Appointment date is not known. A soldier could resign if he found a replacement, who inherited the land bonus. ACD = Armed Constabulary Detachment? C.E. Church of England.

Clearly went to Australia after discharge for at least 6 years. Was he there when John Ollivier visited Sydney 28 Sept 1879? Died in Auckland Hospital of cancer of the larynx. ____________________________________________________________________________
